Servanthood \u2013 to serve those that God places in our path, without respect to his or her religious\u00a0affiliation or outward characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>2. Humility \u2013 To serve these people with a spirit of humility, considering others better than<br \/>\nourselves.<br \/>\n3. Focus \u2013 To focus intently on serving others, as a way to worship our God, who has blessed us\u00a0with the ability to serve Him by serving them.<\/p>\n<p>4. Enthusiasm \u2013 To serve faithfully with rich enthusiasm, knowing that it is not for ourselves or truly\u00a0for others that we serve, but we serve ultimately as unto the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>5. Excellence \u2013 If we offer our lives up to others as chaplains, if we do so with the humility of a\u00a0faithful servant, if we maintain the proper focus on the God we serve, our enthusiasm will not<br \/>\nwane, and we will do so with excellence, as God\u2019s Spirit gives us more and more opportunity to\u00a0serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information and Referral<\/strong><br \/>\nRespond to inquiries regarding chaplaincies, chaplains, and religious expression to the corporate\u00a0world, hospitals\/hospice, Military families, prison\/jails, and police fire and first responders<br \/>\nthroughout the state.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain a database of all chaplains \u2013 whether active or inactive\u00a0 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanchaplainsassociation.org\/\">ww.AmericanChaplainsAssociation.org<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\nUnder sections 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the American Chaplains Association is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization, and a public charity. This organization undergoes an annual financial audit by a Certified Public Accountant.
