Desired Degree<\/strong><\/p>\n Associate\u2019s Degree [\/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]<\/p>\n Semester <\/strong>Hours<\/p>\n 60 [\/twocol_one_last] Aidan University along with Life Changing University is a distance education school of theology and\u00a0ministry. Recognizing that it is not practical for all who are called to ministry to pack up their families and leave their homes or places of ministry to attend a conventional “brick and mortar” school, Life Changing U brings quality, affordable and accessible ministry and theological training where students live and work.<\/p>\n All of our programs are custom made with the student\u2019s needs and interests in mind. We recognize that most students do not fit into a “cookie cutter” academic program so we take great pains to provide our students with the courses that will best prepare them for what the Lord has called them to do. Degree programs are custom made for students in urban, suburban, rural and international environments.<\/p>\n Counseling Degrees Our concept of distance education, which was once considered impractical, has now been adopted by\u00a0leading institutions of higher education as a standard for training for ministry and non-ministry preparation.<\/p>\n Our leadership, faculty, staff and Program Directors\/Mentors are not disconnected from the pulpit or\u00a0local church pressures of this modern world. Our faculty is endowed with a vast treasure of ministry experience and strong academic credentials.<\/p>\n We currently offer degrees in Applied Theology, Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Christian Education, Leadership and Organization, Theology, and Theological Studies. All of our programs are offered from the Associates to the Doctoral level.<\/p>\n Life Changing\u00a0U\u00a0provides a unique opportunity for students to prepare themselves academically, professionally,\u00a0and spiritually to serve God in the ministry & professions to which they have been called. As an\u00a0independent, educational ministry that is thoroughly Biblical in its philosophy of education, LCU is\u00a0a servant to both the local church and the individual student\u037e providing curriculum, \u00a0 consultation, and\u00a0direction for the accomplishment of his\/her educational goal.<\/p>\n Our Statement of Faith reflects the solidarity and unity of the broad spectrum of Christian ministry in our world. \n*\u00a0All doctorate degree programs have a prerequisite of a Master\u2019s degree and require either 36 or 60 credit hours beyond the Master\u2019s degree. Students having earned a Master of Theology (M Th) or a Master of\u00a0Divinity (M. Div.) may enroll in a 36hour degree program. All other Master\u2019s degree programs require 60 semester hours beyond the Master\u2019s degree to qualify for a doctorate degree.<\/p>\n
